Eee PC Makes Its Debut in Israel

Bezeq, Israels largest telecommunications provider, will start supplying ASUS Eee PC’s, according to Refael Fogel at The Marker IT.
Bezeq will supply the PC’s exclusively until April, and the Eee’s will be provided with Windows XP.
In April the Eee will be available through other retailers and will be installed with Xandros.

The site is in Hebrew, and backed by the http://linux-israel.net team.
They offer free support in the forums or paid support from the company.

Mandriva Israel is Officialy Launching

Mandriva Israel, although operating since 2007, will officially launch on February 28th 2008.
Lets hope this with improve the Linux efforts in Israeli Schools.
